Change is the only constant in life!

Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher has been quoted as saying, "Change is the only constant in life." This hit home within the Chamber this week as I was presented with Amy Rollins' resignation from her position as Member Services Director! I experienced mixed emotions upon this news.

I am truly happy for Amy that she has found the opportunity to start a new chapter in her career within our community and will continue to serve this community, just in a different capacity. I am beyond pleased that she offered us a month to attempt to find her replacement (not an easy task) and implement a transition strategy.

I am also deeply saddened to lose Amy as a trusted and valued friend and member of our team. Amy and I have known each other for over 20 years and we have worked together in various roles over those years. Amy played a big part in my decision to take on the position of President & CEO of the Chamber and her institutional knowledge of our members and community will be sorely missed. Yet, her smile and nurturing personality is genuine to the core and I am confident that Amy will continue to be a proponent of all that the Chamber accomplishes for its members and the region as a whole.

Should you or someone you know be interested in applying for the position of Marketing And Membership Director, the job is now posted on our website. Click here to read the full job description.
