Denville Community Facilities Concerns and Possibility of Leasing St. Mary's Prep
The Denville Township School District has been grappling with the lack of instructional space for over two decades. Thankfully in the school year 2018-19 the district was able to eliminate the use of substandard space (trailers, hallways, etc.) for instruction. Due to several factors explained in the presentation and information linked below, the availability of instructional space is still a concern.

Congratulations to Denville Schools for Becoming a Future Ready District
Future Ready Schools New Jersey is a certification program that was established by using the National Future Ready Framework designed by the Alliance for Excellent Education, and then customized to fit New Jersey schools. The program is a coalition of the New Jersey Department of Education, the New Jersey School Boards Association and New Jersey Institute of Technology. The goal of the program is to ensure that New Jersey Schools have a culture of digital innovation with the use of technology, digital content and media to prepare New Jersey students for the rapidly changing information age, so that students can be engaged and successful members of a digital society and workforce.
All 3 of Denville Township Schools, Lakeview, Riverview, and Valleyview formed teams to gather and present information to the NJ Future Ready Certification Committees for review. We are very excited that all 3 schools received Bronze Level Certification and exceled in the areas of Leadership, Education and Technology. Important Notice for Riverview Regarding Paving of Gardner Lot
This is a notice to let you know there will be a change to afternoon parent pick ups (walkers) on
Wednesday, September 25. Walkers will be dismissed from the small parking lot in the
front of the building. Procedures will remain the same with parents staying in their cars waiting for their child to be dismissed to them.
The
Gardner Parking Lot Area will be milled on this day.
The Gardner Parking Lot will be paved on Monday, September 30-school is closed on this day.
If completed as scheduled, the paving should not affect our dismissal on any other days.

11th Annual Charity Golf Outing
The Foundation
of Denville is holding its annual Charity Golf Outing on Monday, September 23rd at the Rockaway River Country Club. Proceeds support Denville Schools.

2018-19 NJ State Assessments Presentation
Dr. Cullis will present results of the 2018-19 NJ State Assessments on Monday October 14, 2019 at the Denville Board of Education meeting at Denville Town Hall 7:30 PM.
