May 19, 11 am: Children and families are invited to a hike with Children's Ministries at Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge, 19255 SW Pacific Highway, Sherwood, OR 97140-9292 (See map at the bottom of announcements). This trail is generally flat, except for descending short switchbacks at the beginning of the trail near the parking lot. The river trail is 1 mile each way and is great for wildlife observation and photography. The trail is gravel but may be muddy this time of year. Bring appropriate shoes, clothing, water and a sack lunch. Binoculars and bird identification books may also be useful. (Click map below to go to the website.)
