OUR MISSION:

To Seek & Save the Lost

July 5, 2024

Could our eyes be opened, we would see that eternal justice is at work in our world. A powerful influence, not under man’s control, is working. Man may fancy that he is directing matters, but there are higher than human influences at work. The servants of God know that He is working to counteract Satan’s plans. Those who know not God cannot comprehend His movements. There is at work a wheel within a wheel. Apparently, the complication of machinery is so intricate that man can see only a complete entanglement. But the divine Hand, as seen by the prophet Ezekiel, is placed upon the wheels, and every part moves in complete harmony, each doing its specified work, yet with individual freedom of action."

Ellen White, Manuscript 13-1898

Tofu "Egg Salad" Recipe

Shared by Joy Nunn & further adapted by Renae Smith

1 block firm or extra firm tofu

Vegan mayonnaise -- enough to make it nicely moist (1/4 cup-ish?)

Celery seed (couple pinches) or chopped fresh celery

1/2-1 tsp onion powder OR 2 green onions finely sliced OR approximately 2 tbsp finely diced onion

1/4-1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4-1/2 tsp dried dill (OR 2 tbsp fresh)

Chives finely chopped (optional) -- 1-2 tbsp

Salt to taste

1/8-1/4 tsp turmeric (optional for color)

Squeeze as much liquid out of the tofu as you can with your hands. Break it apart with a fork (or press it through a potato ricer, as Joy prefers).

Mix in the rest of the ingredients.

Spread on your favorite bread & top with some crispy lettuce or greens. Enjoy!
