Inform Maternal and Child Health Priorities for the State of Wyoming with Teen Focus Groups


The Wyoming Department of Health needs help to inform maternal and child health priorities for the State of Wyoming. They are recruiting teens ages 12-17 with parent/guardian permission for focus groups. Ages 12-14 will gather September 18 from 7:00-8:30pm (English and ASL) and September 24 from 4:00-5:30pm (Spanish and English). Ages 15-17 will gather September 17 from 7:00-8:30pm (English and ASL) and September 25 from 4:00-5:30pm (Spanish and English). Qualifying focus group participants are eligible for a $60 gift card.

Apply for Youth for Natural Resources Grant to Support Your Efforts to Connect Young People to Natural Resources and STEM Learning


The Wyoming Wildlife Foundation is now inviting applications for the Wyoming Youth for Natural Resources Fund which supports projects involving youth in conservation efforts. Grants may be made to public schools, youth organizations, or other nonprofit organizations teaching youth about Wyoming’s natural resources, as well as science and technology and their application to the well-being of Wyoming’s citizens. Students are invited to embark on a FREE two-day adventure into the wild world of STEM at Central Wyoming College’s Alpine Science Institute in the Wind River Range outdoor classroom September 13-14 in Lander.
