Procuring for This Year’s Gala and Auction | |
|
We are thrilled to have already received a few procurement items for this year’s Gala and Auction, and we look forward to receiving more before the March 31 deadline. Procuring for the Auction is easy and fun! Each family is asked to procure or provide one or more items with a combined market / retail value of at least $300 — to be auctioned off in the Online or Live Auction. While procuring or providing Auction items is preferred, a family may, alternatively, make a cash donation to the Auction in an amount equal to or exceeding $300. For more information about the Gala and Auction, please click here.
Themed Auction packages are always well received, but we would welcome single items too. Click here for a few ideas to get you started. Certificates and gift cards should have an expiration date of at least April 22, 2024. To donate or procure an item or experience, please click here to access and complete the online donation form. To make a cash donation, please click here. Please don’t hesitate to contact the Gala Team at Gala@FASPS.org for assistance. Your contributions will help make our Auction and Gala a success! Merci! Thank you so much for your support.

Music Is So Important to Our Curriculum for So Many Reasons!
Every day with both their regular teachers and with our music teachers, our TYPK students develop and hone their skills through music, whose importance in contemporary education is well known. Because it engages various competences such as coding and decoding, mathematics, language, respect of instructions, well-being, concentration, and socialization, among others, music is a transversal competence of great importance, and these skills are developed beginning in TYPK.
This year, Sally’s, Cybel’s, and Gilles’ TYPK and PK students have started the work necessary to ultimately play percussion together. Offering our young musicians a large-group musical experience in which they can apply the notions previously discussed is a unique experience in which everyone will play their part together. And to try is to succeed! Merci Fabian for your precious help and our amazing students for their boundless enthusiasm!

“The U.S. City That Keeps Changing the World”
“There's something in the air in Seattle. And while at first sniff you might assume it’s coffee, nose a little harder and you’ll notice that Seattle doesn’t run on caffeine — it runs on innovation. It’s not for nothing that this city has spawned Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, and Starbucks, for starters. Even Pike Place Market was founded in 1907 as a way for farmers to sell produce directly to customers.” Click Here to Read the Rest of the Article
