A Message from Headmaster Scott

Dear Archway Trivium Families,

Earlier this year we celebrated being recognized as a Purple Star candidate school. The purple star program is a designed to support military families as they transition into new communities. For our part, faculty and staff were trained on the program. Mr. Wright, one of our third grade teachers, took on the responsibility of training and organizing student mentors. These mentors are familiar with the transitory nature of military life, and most have experienced it first hand.

April is the month of the military child. As a way to recognize our support for these children, both within our community and beyond, we decided to do something special on this spirit day. Every scholar in our academy was given a purple star sticker and I gave brief talk to start the day. We have a great extended weekend and I hope you all enjoy some quality family time. During that time, and perhaps even today after school, please take a moment to discuss the sacrifices our military families make, including the children involved. Thank you all and have a great weekend!

Heartily Devoted,

Clay Scott

Headmaster

Student Pledge Leaders: Everett W., Olivia M., Aiden L., Tiffany L., Emma G.

Great Hearts Day of Giving - May 7

Great Hearts Day of Giving is coming up on May 7, 2024. We need all of our families to "chip in" to help our school reach its community investment goal for the year. Community investment helps pay for teachers' salaries, Maintenance on our building, music programs, language programs, and art programs. We will be raffling off a $25 gift card every school month to Crumbl Cookie to our recurring donors so make sure to sign up for a recurring giving plan to support community investment. Let's all support our community by making a dozen donations.

Late Pick-up Policy

We have been doing very well with our on-campus student pick-up and drop-off routines as of late. Every year, it takes a few weeks for us to settle into a routine so that the pickup runs smoothly. Now that pick-up times are running efficiently, we ask parents to ensure they arrive on time to pick up their students.

We will begin enforcing our Late Pick-up Policy on Tuesday, September 5. Please make sure you are arriving within 30 minutes of the end of school to pick up your scholar in order to avoid being charged a late pick-up fee. Parents arriving after this time will be required to sign out their child from the MPR and may be assessed a $2 per minute, per student late fee. All late pick-up fees will be added to your Configio account and are due upon receipt. For more information, please see page 46 of our Family Handbook.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - You will be charged from 3:35pm

Wednesday - You will be charged from 1:55pm

Half days - You will be charged from 12:25pm (excludes Half Day Kinder)

Communication Updates

Latest News image.png

School Messenger Communication

Great Hearts and Archway Trivium continue to utilize the system School Messenger for emails, robo-calls, and text messaging to inform families of campus related academy emergencies and other communications. SchoolMessenger has a new automatic opt-in for text feature. During the registration/re-enrollment process families confirmed their wish to participate in text communications. Great Hearts will now automatically opt in contact information given during the registration/re-enrollment process with the options you selected. You will notice at the beginning of July you will be opted in for text messaging. If you would like to opt out of text messages simply reply STOP to the text from 67585. You can also enter the code 67585 with the message STOP to block any text messaging. Please note, if opting out, you will not receive texts regarding emergencies on campus.

Email Communications

If you know of parents who are not receiving these communications, please ask them to check their junk/promotions email folders, and then email bmcdonald@archwaytrivium.org for assistance.

You can also find ALL school-wide communications on our website on the Latest News page.
