Together We Make A Difference!

At Bishop Grimes, our students have bright minds and compassionate hearts. We challenge our students to complete service hours around the community, and they rise to the task with unwavering commitment and passion.

Each and every student at our school actively participates in making a difference in the lives of others. Together we have spent time feeding the hungry, organizing collections for charitable causes, and brightening the lives of senior citizens.

Through these service initiatives, we build empathy, accept responsibility, and experience the joys of giving back. We understand that true fulfillment goes beyond personal achievements and is really only achieved by having an impact on others' lives. Together, we're shaping a brighter future filled with compassion and service for ourselves and our neighbors.

Here are a few highlights from the service projects that have been completed this year.

BG students spent time on their day off from school volunteering at the Annual Election Day Spaghetti Dinner at Pompei. Bishop Lucia was in attendance.

Our students braved the cold to participate in the Syracuse March for Life.

During Catholic Schools Week, we spent a day helping the hungry at the Samaritan Center.

The Right to Life Club sponsored a card making activity during lunches to go to people in long term care facilities.

BG students collected baby bottles and then delivered them to BirthRight.

We helped our friends at Joseph's House move from their old site on Court street to their new site at the Old Dominican convent.
