Friday 4-H Nugget

Greetings 4-H Community,

Before you know it, Thanksgiving will be here! This is a great time of year to think about all of the things you are grateful for. We can think of a few; the many great volunteers, 4-H members and community supporters of the 4-H program and Purdue Extension.

In this nugget you will find information about a couple of new 4-H clubs, a new 4-H program, broadband access and the Milk Quality CDE team. Please note that our office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 23 & 24 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Please be sure to reach out to any of our team members and we will be happy to assist you.

All the best,

Robby Kelly, Sthele Greybar & Corey Sharp

Purdue Broadband Team (PBT)

We are calling all 4-H members to be a broadband influencer! As you know broadband is important to everyone. It is important that we all have adequate access to high speed internet for the many different things we do every day. Check out the flyer and Purdue's website.

If you complete this as an Indiana 4-H member you can have the chance for prizes!

Dairy Foods Team - Milk Quality CDE

January will be here before you know it. We will be having a Milk Quality and Products Career Development Team that will start practicing in January. This is a great way to learn about dairy careers, the different kinds of chesses (many samples), milk quality, and dairy vs. non dairy products.

The team is looking for youth that are currently enrolled in grades 3-12. For more information, click on the program flyer. If you are interested in signing up contact Robby Kelly.
