Looking for in-service hours?? Florida After School has partnered with ACRES, a free coaching resource for out-of-school time providers and or programs, to provide a peer learning community on Asking Purposeful Questions. ACRES strive is to guide educators or after-school staff with the knowledge and confidence to facilitate STEM in their after-school programs. Asking Purposeful Question Description: Questions are the beginning of a path towards discover, imagination, and STEM Exploration.

The three-part series begins next Thursday, July 11 from 11AM-1PM.

Florida 4-H to begin renovating historic 4-H Camp Cherry Lake

A Big Bend landmark is getting renovation help thanks to money approved in the Florida Legistlature. The state funding brings the camp, located in Madison County, to more than $1.1 million raised in public and private funds toward the construction of five new, ADA-compliant cabins after the former cabins were removed in 2023.

Teen Science Cafe Fellows- 2024-2025

The Teen Science Cafe (TSC) Fellows initiative is a ten-month training program designed to help informal educators implement Teen Science Cafes in their community. Teen Science Cafe Fellows receive one-on-one support from TSC Guides to launch a cafe program and host three cafe events during the year. Fellows receive a $2,500 stipend to support their work!
