RGL Logistics Becomes Gold-Certified Fox Cities Employee Friendly Workplace

RGL Logistics leadership and staff gether to accept their gold Employee Friendly Workplace certification.

Congratulations to RGL Logistics on being certified as a gold-level Employee Friendly Workplace by the Fox Cities Chamber! This certification recognizes employers who demonstrate a significant commitment to promoting work/life integration by creating a positive work environment and experience for all employees.

A few of the benefits that make RGL a great place to work are their flexibility and healthy work-life balance for all teammates, health and wellness initiatives, community volunteer incentive program, and a free healthcare clinic for teammates and families. RGL is also dedicated to developing all teammates personally and professionally and has been recognized as a Champion of Young Professionals in the Fox Cities.

As Sheila Stordahl, VP of Human Resources & Risk Management at RGL, shares, “Over five years ago, RGL made a commitment to our teammates to improve their lives inside and outside of work by truly living out our people vision. This was the beginning of our commitment-based culture. We are humbled to be in a position as a company where we are able to continuously improve our benefit and wellness offerings for our teammates and their families, as well as work/life balance initiatives. That only happens by engaging our teammates in the process and, from there, they pay it forward to our customers, the community, and each other.”

This is our giveback to YOU for all you do for Octoberfest and the community, and it's a great opportunity for non-profit groups to volunteer together.

Not a nonprofit? We still encourage you to volunteer! Volunteers are what make Octoberfest happen, and we appreciate any time you are willing to give to the event.

Governor signs off on UW engineering building

We were excited to see that Governor Evers signed off on funding for the UW-Madison engineering building yesterday. This is an initiative that the Fox Cities Chamber advocated for, as it helps attract more engineering students to Wisconsin and ultimately helps Fox Cities employers fill their talent pipelines.

The new building will offer increased space to admit and educate more students and attract exceptional faculty. It will include dedicated space for industry collaboration, foster closer connections with corporate partners, accelerate technology application, and drive economic impact. Read more.
