Get your Farmers Market Coupons at the Farmers Market

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: In order to qualify for coupons, you must be a Nevada resident, 60 years of age or older, and must have an income that does not exceed $26,973 annually ($2,248/month) for a household of 1 or $36,482 annually ($3,041/month) for a household of 2. We are able to give one set of coupons per household.


You will need to present a Nevada ID or a Nevada Driver’s License showing a Carson City residence in order to receive coupons and must sign the self-certification form at the distribution site. Non-senior friends or family members may pick up the coupon booklet for a homebound senior but will need to have the senior’s identification and a note authorizing them to receive the coupons.


Eligible seniors will receive $50.00 in coupons redeemable at the local Farmers’ Markets in Carson City or coupons may be used at any other Nevada Farmers Market displaying the appropriate signage. The location for the Farmers Market is 1111 E. William Street, inside the Marv Teixeira Pavilion at Mills Park. The Farmers Market will take place every Saturday starting June 10th through September 30th from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Once the booklets are claimed, they cannot be replaced if lost or damaged. Eligible seniors can use the coupons from June 1st – September 15th. This program is made possible through the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP).

Meet Some of Our New Staff!

Meet Melissa Connors


Melissa joined RSVP in May 2023 as the Program Director, where she is responsible for continued development and implementation of RSVP programs and related grants.


She provides support and training to RSVP staff and volunteers in the Nevada rural counties, and represents RSVP with other state, federal, and local agencies.


She has 10+ years’ experience working for state and local governments providing direct support and case management services to vulnerable populations across the life span.

Melissa is a native Nevadan. She and her two children love spending time with friends and family, as well as all the outdoor activities Nevada has to offer.

Melissa is excited to be a part of the RSVP team and looks forward to the growth, and providing the lifesaving volunteer programs that support seniors of Nevada in maintaining their dignity, respect, and self-determination.


Meet Stephanie Watson


Stephanie joined RSVP in June of 2023 as a Service Coordinator in Elko County. She has numerous years in the medical field as a Certified Medical Assistant, Counselor for Independent Living as well as various Medical Management positions.


She is passionate about the importance of each person’s independence and dignity, and providing them with quality programs through RSVP.


 I am looking forward to growing our programs throughout Elko County and I encourage anyone that seeks a need for yourself or your loved one for any of our programs to call and find out more how RSVP can be a service for you. RSVP is always open to taking applications for volunteers please call for more information.
