TALLAHASSEE, Fl. -The Four Points by Sheraton Tallahassee Downtown is thrilled to announce the celebration of our one year anniversary! On June 7, 2012 we opened our doors to the Tallahassee community and their guests and we are excited to celebrate all of our accomplishments as we've redefined one of Tallahassee's most recognizable landmarks!

We are so proud of our staff and all that they have accomplished in the last year! Twenty -six of our current employees have been with us since we first opened our doors!

In efforts to be a leader in sustainability within the Tallahassee, we have proudly received our Green Lodging Certification and have submitted the application to receive our LEED Certification to ensure that we conserve energy and provide a healthy and environmentally friendly stay to all guests!

In addition to the commitment to sustainability, we are always working to strengthen our bonds to the community! We have hosted an ever-growing number of community events. We are the hosting venue of many local organizations such as Sustainable Tallahassee's Green Drinks and Tallahassee Society of Association Executives Luncheons.

We also recently purchased the Mays Munroe Building next door and are looking to the community to decide how we occupy the space through the social media campaign called #finishtheblock.

Through positive guest experiences and guest compliments, we have received Trip Advisor's Certificate of Excellence award. This is awarded to businesses that consistently earn high ratings from travelers and rank within the top 10% of businesses worldwide. We have felt an overwhelming welcome to town and after surviving our first football season we feel at home!
