College Students Home for the Summer: Formation and Fellowship
College students who are home for the summer are invited to participate in formation and fellowship opportunities sponsored by Campus Ministry of the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Weekly prayer/talk/and discussion occurs every Tuesday from 6:00–7:30 PM at the Pastoral Ministry Center (directions). Adoration and reconciliation are offered every Wednesday at 5:00 PM followed by Mass at 6:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Student Center (directions). The new Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
The English and Spanish editions of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (formerly RCIA) and Rito de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos (RICA) were confirmed by the Holy See on February 14, 2024. While the rituals as such are not changing, the texts have been revised and may be used as early as the First Sunday of Advent, December 1, 2024, and the mandatory implementation date has been set for Ash Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Liturgical Training Publications offers resources for you to pre-order the ritual book today, attend the National Gathering on Christian Initiation, and take part in upcoming orientation sessions for new coordinators of Christian Initiation. La nueva Orden de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos
Las ediciones en inglés y español de la Orden de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos (antes OICA) y Rito de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos (RICA) fueron confirmadas por la Santa Sede el 14 de febrero de 2024. Aunque los rituales como tales no cambian, los textos han sido revisados y pueden ser utilizados desde el Primer Domingo de Adviento, el 1 de diciembre de 2024, y la fecha de aplicación obligatoria se ha fijado para el Miércoles de Ceniza, el 5 de marzo de 2025. Liturgical Training Publications ofrece recursos para preordenar el libro ritual hoy, asistir al Encuentro Nacional sobre Iniciación Cristiana y participar en las próximas sesiones de orientación para nuevos coordinadores de Iniciación Cristiana.
