reported by CN at key rail points have helped restore service but industry insiders involved with shipping and logistics are still scrambling to find alternate routes to market as blockades
continue to pop up especially along key Montreal-Toronto corridor. Lumber and panel
prices have reacted to the blockades edging up over last three weeks but pulp prices remain flat.

2020 FOREST NB AGM/ARPFNB AGM & INDUSTRY FORUM "FORESTRY IN A CHANGING CLIMATE"
On February 19-20, HFP hosted two open houses in Campbellton and Edmundston. The afternoon session welcomed anyone interested in learning about the research and spruce budworm. The night sessions offered presentations on the early intervention strategy, spruce budworm and an update on the 2020 treatment program.
After acessing the branch samples of 2019, approximately 35 000 hectares are to be treated in the summer of 2020. It is slightly higher than 2019's treated land area which only counted 10 000 hectares. This year's treatment bloc is still low.
