Forestry 110 Launches in NB Schools This Year
We're please to announce that a dozen anglophone district high schools across the province will be offerings the brand new Forestry 110 curriculum. This curriculum was developed with industry support and will foster interest in the field while providing valuable experiential learning opportunities.
National Forest Week 2023 Begins Today!

This year's theme is "Canadian Forests: Supporting Biological Diversity". Biodiversity preservation remains a top priority for the forest sector and that diversity of species, wildlife, and habitat all contribute to the resilience of our forests. Through sustainable and responsible management, we can ensure that our forests can continue to support all those who depend on them.

Applications Open – The 2023 Ernie Strickland Scholarship
Forest NB is pleased to once again offer the Ernie Strickland Scholarship to forest sector families and members of Forest NB. The application deadline is the 30th of September 2023.

Forest NB has awarded the Ernie Strickland Memorial Scholarship annually since 1998 to forest sector family members. This memorial scholarship honours Ernie Strickland, who was an instructor at the Maritime Forest Ranger School and a dedicated volunteer to the forestry sector.
