2024 Pool Passes - Please register now, don't wait until the last minute!
As outlined in February's newsletter (missed it? click here) there is a new pool entry system being introduced for this summer's pool season called Membersplash. You are now able to register your family/household for Membersplash. The link and instructions are provided below. A few important notes:
- Once you have registered your household members your account will be approved by the FLCA office. Once it is approved, you may not make changes without coming into the office.
- Unless you are registering a nanny/babysitter or are a Legacy member, the "UNPAID ACCOUNT" does not apply to you. This has nothing to do with your HOA dues!!!
- Only your household members who live with you can be registered. Any fraudulent entries will not be approved and your account will remain inactive.
- Every household member must have a current head-shot picture. This is how you will be identified at check-in. Make sure it looks like YOU!
- Need help? You can call the FLCA office with questions or to make an appointment to have us help you set up your account. 434/973.4596.
-
For the definition of a Legacy and Nanny account, please see February's newsletter.
For complete instructions click HERE. We recommend printing them out.

TENNIS and PICKLEBALL NEWS
It was so great to meet so many of you at the “meet and greet” a couple of weekends ago. Thanks for coming out! If you weren’t able to come and would like to know a bit about me, here goes.
I am native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Secondary Education from California University of PA. I’ve always been passionate about tennis and was recruited to play in college. I decided I wanted to make it my career and became a certified professional with the PTR in 1995.
After moving to Richmond in 2003, I attracted thousands of kids and adults to my tennis programs. I’ve been awarded the Mid-Atlantic Tournament Director of the Year (2015) and the Mid-Atlantic Growth of the Game Tennis Professional of the Year (2017).
I’ve developed programs that offer something for everyone, from recreational players to highly competitive players, from beginners to advanced. My true passion is developing a program that nurtures the wants and needs of the players. And in doing so, this helps to create a close-knit tennis community. And this goes for pickleball too - I'll be certified soon!
I do love all things tennis but am also a huge yinzer and basically love the Stillers, Pens, and Pirates! My life partner, Lynne, and I have been together for nearly 15 years (met on the tennis court). Love to entertain, enjoy spending time with family and friends, and traveling. I am so excited to be here at Forest Lakes and bring all the residents more tennis, pickleball, and events! Come by the pro shop at the north facility to say hello! Would love to meet you!
Tennis programs start Monday, April 7th! Click on the links below, give me a call or shoot me an email to register!

WALKING, RIDING and RUNNING SAFETY TIPS
It's Spring! There are so many of us out on our trails, paths and roads this time of year. Please remember:
- WALKERS Please, if you are walking along the edge of the road, walk facing traffic. Never walk with your back to traffic! Always walk on a path when available.
- RUNNERS Please don't wear dull colors but opt for bright clothing that makes you more visible. Many of you choose to run along the edge of the road - you can see the cars, but most often they cannot see you! Especially if you are wearing black or gray. If it's dark, please wear reflective clothing.
- RIDERS If riding on the paths, please give the right of way to all walkers. Slow down and go around! Thanks!
