Day Trip Itinerary: Lexington MA

Morning:

• Breakfast + Coffee at a Local Café: Start your day at a café like MA-France French market or Peets Coffee. Enjoy some coffee or tea along with freshly baked pastries or a hearty breakfast sandwich.

• Lexington Battle Green: Begin your historical journey by visiting the Lexington Battle Green, where the first shot of the American Revolutionary War was fired. Take a leisurely walk around the green and soak in the historic atmosphere. Here you can stop by Buckman Tavern, a historic building that played a role in the Battle of Lexington.

Mid-Morning

• Minute Man National Historical Park: Head to the Minute Man National Historical Park, which highlights several key sites related to the American Revolution. Explore the Visitor Center, watch the multimedia presentation, and then embark on a scenic walk or bike ride along the Battle Road Trail.

• Lexington Arts & Crafts Society: If you're interested in art, visit the Lexington Arts & Crafts Society to admire local artwork. You may even come home with a new piece of art as a souvenir!

Evening

• Dinner at a Local Restaurant: For dinner, treat yourself to a memorable meal at a local restaurant. The historic Colonial Inn serves traditional New England fare.

• Sunset at Arlington Reservoir: If you still have the energy... Head to the nearby Arlington Reservoir to catch a sunset. You can take a stroll around the reservoir or find a cozy spot to sit and relax.

• Evening Entertainment: Depending on your interests, you can end your day with some entertainment! Catch a live performance at the Cary Memorial Building or enjoy a nightcap at a local bar.
