Our partners over at Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf are reaching more clients by offering items catered to those age 60 years or more, such as shelf-stable protein, veggies and easy to prepare grains. They have launched the Pack to Order for delivery program which allows seniors who are unable to come into the pantry to select items for delivery. A volunteer calls the senior who has requested food, tells them what is on the shopping list, takes their order and packs their food. Perishable items get added when the driver picks up the box to be delivered.

Thank you for the work you do in the fight against hunger!
