FAFP Annual Conference 2024:

May 14-16


The 2024 conference will be held in St. Petersburg, Florida. Betsy Craig will be attending the event as a guest speaker. Be sure to reach out if you'll be there too.

National Restaurant Show 2024: May 18-21

Training: James Madison University


In addition to having a Certified AllerTrainer on campus to teach our AllerTrain Suite of Courses, the JMU dietary team strives to make eating a comfortable and safe experience for everyone on campus. Students can enjoy gluten-free, nut-free and vegan/vegetarian options across campus.


OnSite: Amasar


Amasar is an ecofriendly agribusiness located in beautiful Puerto Rico that provides tasty and nutritional products based on Breadfruit. They recently achieved their Certified Gluten Free certification from MenuTrinfo.


Nutrition: Newk's Eatery


Newk's is a family founded company that started in Mississippi in 2004. In 2010, they were named one of the nation's top "growing concepts" by Nation's Restaurant News in 2010 and the #2 Fast Casual Chain by Nation's Restaurant News in 2024. Their menu includes plenty of options for both vegetarian and gluten-sensitive diners. Through their Newk's Cares Foundation, Newk's has raised over $2.3 million for ovarian cancer research alliance (OCRA).

Karen Orabona


The Training Team would like to acknowledge Karen Orabona from the University of Rhode Island. Karen has been a Certified AllerTrainer since 2019 and has been consistently training ever since. She is always looking out for the best interest of her students, and asks all the right questions to make sure she is never missing anything.

Assistant Manager of Training


Lainie started with MenuTrinfo about 1.5 years ago as a Fulfillment Specialist and has done an amazing job in the training department. Her attention to detail and kind communication is appreciated by all. She also has a great sense of humor ... as evidenced by her choice of photo.


Director of Data & Automation


Galen started with MenuTrinfo in 2022. He has worked tirelessly to bring efficiency and accuracy to all of MenuTrinfo's departments. Even though he's "behind the scenes" we're sure you've been impacted by his work. We're thankful for his knowledge and ability to make the complicated easy to understand.


Director of Training & Client Success


Sandra started with MenuTrinfo in February and her expertise and leadership was noticed immediately. Her previous work in higher education and restaurant management was a perfect fit for this role. We appreciate her warm and welcoming attitude and, of course, we can't complain about the occasional homemade treats
