Dear Masterman Community,

Because of the unanticipated volume of attendees at Tuesday night's Masterman HSA Meeting, we unfortunately exceeded our Zoom capacity. We sincerely apologize to everyone who faced the frustration of not being able to join. We appreciate your engagement and we are working on increasing our capacity for future meetings.

In an effort to make information available to all, we are providing the following:

In addition, we would like to ask anyone who had thoughts or opinions (before, during, or after the meeting) to make them known to the Masterman HSA on this response form (also linked below).

We value everyone’s active participation and want to make space for people to share their perspectives, recognizing that parents, teachers, administrators, and community members all have distinct viewpoints that we need to represent.

We had intended to make a recording available, but this requires the permission of 100% of speakers, which we do not have at this time.

We will follow up this meeting with an in-person meeting, organized jointly with Masterman administration and the SAC, to discuss the vision and mission of Masterman, tentatively scheduled for February 7 at 6:00 pm at the school. In this discussion, we are moving beyond what is happening at Masterman now to what we want the future to look like. We hope that everyone will want to participate and share their vision of the future of the school.

Thank you again for your engagement.

Mitchell Orenstein

Masterman HSA President
