A Successful UCE-Uganda Mission

During our two week visit to Uganda, we joined the UCE teams on 10 UCE outreaches and reached over 4,000 youth. We were humbled and touched by the different UCE student testimonies, the warm hospitality from our dear UCE-Ugandan teams, and God’s grace and protection during our trip.

That's a Wrap

It’s grasshopper roasting season in Uganda. Ken and I have never met a Ugandan who didn’t look forward to this twice-yearly delicacy. Since our first visit in 2003, we have politely declined their favorite snack. This year, with 5-10 cameras poised on us, followed by cheers and applause we gave the grasshoppers a try!

Resti, a UCE team member, shows the grasshopper catching and roasting devices all along the highway. The green light is used to attract the grasshoppers which are collected in the buckets (pictured below).

We are now safely home. Thank you for following us along to Uganda and for your prayers. If you’d like to support the mission of UCE, please kindly consider donating here. God bless you.
