FAMU Leads Multi-Million Dollar Consortium on Coastal and Marine Ecosystems
FAMU will receive $15.4M from NOAA's Educational Partnership Program to establish the Center for Coastal and Marine Ecosystems. The new Center, led by Dr. Larry Robinson, will allow FAMU to partner with 5 other universities to make profound national impacts on coastal and marine ecosystems education, science, and policy. Study: Global Food Security Aided by Combining Different Methods
Researchers at UF are closer to helping producers better meet global food demand. A global team of scientists, led by Dr. Senthold Asseng, used two different simulation methods and one statistical method to predict the impact of rising temperatures on global wheat production, and all came to similar estimates.
