Discovered accidentally in 2004 by two scientists in England, it is one million times thinner than a human hair, yet 200 times stronger than steel.

How Florida Cut Red Tape To Fast-Track Hurricane Repairs

When storm damage caused by Hurricane Ian cut off access to Sanibel Island on Florida's Gulf Coast in fall 2022, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) had to act quickly. Thanks to a suspension of bureaucracy and red tape, the bridge reopened quickly.

CWR Contracting Hard at Work in Graceville

CWR Contracting is rebuilding Graceville, Florida, with a project on SR 2 from Choctawhatchee River Bridge to CR 177. The project, due for completion by July 24, includes slope corrections, base repair, bridge barrier wall repair, guardrail replacement, concrete ditch placement for drainage improvements, and 15 miles of fresh asphalt.
