It is my pleasure to officially announce the acquisition of Group Dynamic, LLC (Group Dynamic, GDI) by Flores & Associates, LLC (Flores). We are enormously proud and humbled that the Group Dynamic owners, led by founder John Locke and supported by Cliff Mohr’s senior management team, entrusted the Flores organization to carry on a legacy of exceptional service to GDI clients. We are excited to grow the presence of Flores in the Northeast through acquisition of this well-respected local benefits partner.
The Flores vision is to achieve complete client satisfaction by combining proactive service with leading-edge technology. To accomplish that vision we need exceptional employees, proven processes, and superior products all supported by technology built to meet the needs of a rapidly changing benefits environment.
The Group Dynamic team is comprised of exceptional staff at all levels. All GDI staff will be retained and play an important role in the future of Flores moving forward. As many of you know, both Kim Kennedy and Lynne McKeone retired this past December. Recognizing that this was imminent, Cliff hired Ryan Bourgoin to assume the role of Director, GDI Operations. In this capacity Ryan will assist the Flores team and assume all integration responsibilities. Cliff will be a resource to Ryan and the Flores team. He will also assist me with various strategic growth initiatives. And as we look to combine organizations, we’ve already identified several Group Dynamic structural elements we will adopt company wide.
Flores has introduced a number of products, educational tools and a quality assurance process using its proprietary technology. In addition to benefits administration, Flores also offers an array of compliance administration services and solutions, including FMLA and ADA leave administration and form 5500 preparation. Certain products and features will be made available to Group Dynamic clients very soon. Others will be phased in to ensure the best possible client experience.
We are preparing for the future transition of Group Dynamic clients to the state-of-the-art proprietary Flores administration platform and will share plan-specific details as the transition planning moves forward. The GDI team is currently hard at work learning the Flores platform and will be well-prepared to answer your questions when the system transition takes place. In the meantime, we will continue with business as usual on the current GDI platform. Rest assured that we will provide you with all the support and education needed to make this a smooth transition for you and your participants.
