A lot of you rely heavily on this information. The posters have been mailed, apparently some to the correct address but with the wrong person's name. Please distribute the prints you received to the people in your office who need them, disregarding the name they are addressed to.

The flooding and its aftermath have been so disruptive to so many of our members that we have extended to 8/7 the deadline for responding to our Compensation and Benefits Survey.
Seeking Nominations for the VLCT Board of Directors
VLCT members can nominate a qualified and interested local official whose term of service would begin at the Annual Meeting on September 26, 2023. See our webpage for full information and the online nomination form. Nominations are due by Friday 8/25.

Town Fair '23 will take place on Tue-Wed 9/26-27! You can register for it as early as 8/1.
Grants for Sustainable Energy in Municipal Buildings
Install clean energy measures to lower your municipality’s energy costs and reduce its climate change footprint. This Vermont Public Service Department grant will open later this summer and has $1M for solar energy generation systems, wood-fueled heating systems, and cold climate heat pumps in Vermont municipal buildings and schools. Underserved and disadvantaged communities are priority locations.
