Spring is right around the corner and those pesky fleas and ticks will be returning in full force. We keep all of our CBHR dogs on flea and tick preventative year round because of the lack of exceptionally cold weather here in the southeast. This keeps the living environment of our foster homes pest free and ensures our bassets are healthy and happy when they move to their forever homes. We need your help to keep our dogs flea free!
Do you have an extra dose of preventative you could share? Could you spare $10 to buy a dose to save a basset from the itchies?
CBHR routinely spends $2000 per year buying Flea and Tick preventative for our beloved foster hounds. One donated vial sure would go a long way!
If you would like to directly donate supplies most of our dogs range in the 40-65 pound weight category and the vials can be mailed to:
CBHR, Inc.
PO Box 80082
Charleston, SC 29416
We don't have a strong preference as to brand. Some common brands are:
Frontline Plus/Multi
Comfortis
Advantix
Often these days, stores like Wal-Mart, Target, Costco, and Sam's Club sell their own version of Frontline or Advantix. Those would be great too!
If you would prefer to donate money to help us buy supplies please use our friendly PayPal service. You can even watch the donations add up; it's quite fun!
Thanks Everyone!
We and the bassets greatly appreciate it!
