Every year, OC San’s General Manager and the Executive Management Team create the General Manager’s Work Plan (plan). The plan is driven by the biannual Strategic Plan and encompasses all aspects of OC San's operations.

These goals are our commitment to our ratepayers and are designed to achieve significant progress throughout the fiscal year.

The current 2024-2025 Plan, which took effect July 1, 2024, contains 21 goals, that will ensure our operations are safe and efficient and continue leading the way in innovation and financial management while maintaining our levels of service.

The four key focus areas in the plan are:

• Business Principles
• Environmental Stewardship
• Wastewater Management
• Workplace Environment

Amongst the goals included in the plan are progressive design-build, urban runoff optimization study, Supercritical Water Oxidation, and applying for OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program certification for Plant No. 2.
