President's Message

I hope all have had a very productive start to 2023. Our board members and volunteers have been working on exciting events for the year. We have also partnered with ACHE on our updated website - which just launched. We are so excited to get this upgrade completed!

Please bookmark our new site https://mo-ache.ache.org/ to keep up to date with the chapter.  We think you will find it much more helpful and easy to navigate. And this gives us a much better venue for our sponsors. (We are always looking for future sponsors – reach out to our sponsorship committee for any leads!)

As we shift into Spring, be sure to take the time to refresh and connect with family and friends. And if you’re going to ACHE Congress in Chicago, send us a note. We’d love to see everyone at the Monday reception.

Cheers,

Matt

Message from Your ACHE Regent

I hope everyone’s New Year is off to a great start! I wanted to take a moment and personally thank you for your dedication and perseverance over the past year, and as we start 2023. Despite the influences and challenges facing healthcare globally, YOU remain committed to our profession.

HIGHER EDUCATION NETWORK VISITS

I am grateful to our Missouri Higher Education Network, and having completed all seven visits this past Fall. I am highly impressed with the graduate students that will be advancing in our profession in the near future.

GRADUATE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

ACHE is pleased to offer the annual Albert C. Dent and Foster G. McGaw Graduate Student Scholarships, which are awarded to outstanding students enrolled in health services administration graduate programs to help finance their education. Each scholarship is worth $5,000. Between the Dent and McGaw scholarships, ACHE awards up to 15 scholarships each year. If students are eligible for both, they may apply for both. Only students who are racially and/or ethnically diverse and/or identify as LGBTQ+ are eligible for the Dent Scholarship. The application period is January 3 – March 31. For more information, and to share with eligible students in your Regent area, you may visit ache.org/scholarships.
