John and Jennifer Burger of Challenge International Ministries, head up the refugee outreach of Diyarbakir Protestant Church, the only evangelical church in the city. They make weekly home visits, assessing the needs for distribution of ovens, mattresses, clothing, taking refugees to doctors appointments, women's programs, children's programs, and monthly food distributions to 20 windows. John also makes prosthetic devices for refugee amputees. Pray for God's provision and protection in all areas and for his light to illuminate the dark places. |
