On Friday, September 6, we will take a group to serve at Misión Peniel in Immokalee alongside our mission partners Cultivate Abundance.
All 8 years old & older are invited to serve. Spots are limited.
We will be depart from St Petersburg in the early afternoon to arrive in Immokalee to serve from 2-6:30 p.m. The group will help make the bags of bread, bags of produce, and pack the eggs in a dozen or half dozen, then hand out the bags to the people served at the mission. Sometimes extra items are also served (hygiene items, bedding, clothes, shoes or household items), and since it will be the first Friday of the month, it will be diaper distribution day and we expect there will be many children accompanying their parents that day. We continue to serve a significant number of our neighbors at our Food Pantry on Tuesday & Thursdays. We especially love to receive chunky soups, pasta sauce, cereal, peanut butter & jelly, and other canned goods. Thank you!

These improvements will allow the space to be used for a great deal of ministry & mission including housing groups who come to the area to serve alongside our mission partners Cultivate Abundance. There will be more trips coming soon to continue the work. Be sure to keep your eyes out for announcements and join us if you can!
