Hello First Act Families, Friends, and Supporters!
This month, we will be kicking off our 2023 Year-End Fundraising Appeal. This is an opportunity to support everything that First Act provides to students, their families, and the community. Producing theatre is a costly endeavor, and like everything else in our world, it has suffered from the recent extreme inflation. Unfortunately, ticket sales, class tuition, and production fees only cover a portion of our budget. We rely on our generous community to help us ensure the sustainability of First Act Theatre Arts for years to come.
During this time of giving, we will be sharing the cost of what it takes to produce live theatre while sharing heart-warming personal stories of the impact of theatre in a faith-based environment. You won’t believe how much it costs to provide the magical theatre experience. But it is so incredibly worth it! The friendships, camaraderie, the ability to collaborate with a group working incredibly hard together to put up a show, and that excitement of opening night when you stand backstage waiting for the curtain to open. These are memories and experiences that last our students a lifetime.
