Hello First Act KC Community!

What an amazing 2022-23 season! As we head into our summer season, we are excited to announce our 2023-24 educational programming and publish this upcoming season's Education Handbook. Just like last year, the handbook maps out everything that we will be offering next year. We have something for every age and level of student as well as a variety of class types and lengths. Our Acting, Dance, and Vocal Studios have been hard at work planning next year ensuring that First Act Theatre Arts remains a top destination for performing arts training in the KC Metro area. 

Fall Registration will open July 5th! More information is coming soon about our 2023-24 Dance Company, Improv Troupe, and Musical Theatre Troupe auditions.

Mark your calendar for First Act KC’s inaugural Giving Day on July 22-23, 2023!

When we come together for Giving Day, we have the power to transform: transform student lives, families, and our greater community - by providing access to quality theatrical arts education and participation regardless of any financial situation.

What is First Act KC Giving Day?

A special day in July for alumni, parents, students, families, neighbors, artistic teams, and staff to come together for 24 hours with the shared goal of building and expanding the First Act Theatre Arts Scholarship Funds. We believe the transformative benefits of the theatrical arts should be available to any student regardless of their ability to pay. First Act KC is dedicated to helping any student who desires to participate in classes, camps, and productions through financial assistance.

The staff at First Act Theatre Arts dedicates so much of their time and talents to their work. You all know them by their names, not their titles! Because of this, we are shifting our email addresses to be personalized by first name. Email forwarding is set up, so if you send something to an old email address, staff will still receive it.

For example, Patrick Graham's new email address will be patrick@firstactkc.org!
