We have a jam packed lineup over the next several months! So, please make sure you are following @firstactkc on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok to stay up on all things First Act Theatre Arts! Here's the rundown of the next 8 weeks. Are you ready?
Everything kicks off the week of January 9th as we jump into our Spring Class session. Registration is still open for our spring classes and you don’t want to miss out on this incredible session!
Another thing you don’t want to miss out on is early registration for our overnight Middle School Camp (Footloose: Youth Edition) and High School Camp (Big Fish) which opens on January 13th. Both camps are expected to fill up quickly!
Next, we have auditions on January 14th for the first of our spring shows and this season's play, Peter & The Starcatcher.
We also have the launch of our new Daytime Academy on January 19th for homeschool, virtual, or alternative learning students ages 5 through 5th grade. We round out January with a Stage Combat workshop on January 28th for ages 12-18.
Did you get all of that? Good, because we have more!
As we turn the corner into February we gear up with four weekends of amazing performances including all of our Winter Productions and a special public performance by our Dance Company and Musical Theatre Troupe.
Go to firstactkc.org now and grab your tickets for Into the Woods (February 2-5), The Music Man (February 16-19), and The Little Mermaid (February 23-26.) More information about the Dance Company and Musical Theatre Troupe performance on February 11th will be released soon!
All of our amazing educational programming and productions would not be possible without you, our remarkable First Act KC community! Thank you for continuing to register for classes, audition for and perform in our shows, buy tickets to our productions, and choosing to become donors and sponsors. There is no better time than the start of a new year to let you know that YOU are why we keep doing what we do. The love, prayers, and support, especially over the last few years, is cherished and appreciated and it truly helps push us forward in what God has in store for First Act Theatre Arts and with HIM “all things are possible”!
One last thing, can you all do me a favor? Since we have so many opportunities over the next 8 weeks to see each other in person, if you see me or any of our other amazing First Act Leadership members, can you please stop by and say “hi”. We value each of you and we look forward to catching up or getting to know you all better in this New Year!
