Best Week Ever
ESPD's Officer Sickles came to the rescue this week when a woman dropping her dogs off at the groomers got locked out of her car when the pooch stepped on the button! With temperatures at dangerous levels, it was fortunate when the officer was able to get it freed!

The Excelsior Springs Hospital will be having a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic and be giving Sports Physicals on August 2 from 10am-6pm

Also, August 6th will be Tax Free Weekend. There will also be a "Loaded Backpack Fair" on Aug. 16th at the Salvation Army at 108 W. Broadway. Application needs to be filled out by Aug. 14th. Fill out application in person Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm
Youth Bowling Success a Team Effort
In an earlier story the Excelsior Citizen reported on the success of bowler Joshua Oldham at the Junior Gold National Bowling Tournament in Indianapolis. Since that publication we have learned there is much more to this story!

The City Council meeting will be live-streamed starting Aug. 2nd and can be found on our Facebook Page, Group, or YouTube Channel

According to the Museum's newsletter, the west half of the Royal will be saved and already has another developer interested.
ES Chamber Luncheon
Monthly the Excelsior Springs Chamber holds a Luncheon on the third Wednesday of each month from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Montgomery Event Venue.
