5th Annual Kauai Pride Parade

🌈 Kauai's 5th Annual Pride Parade will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, 9 a.m. -10:00 a.m. from Vidinha Stadium to the Historic County Building Lawn, followed by a festival on the lawn from 10 a.m. -2 p.m.

58th Commencement Ceremony

He ‘a‘ali‘i ku makani mai au; ‘a‘ohe makani nana e kula‘i (I am a wind-resisting ‘a‘ali‘i, no gale can push me over). Interim Chancellor Margaret Sanchez, and the graduating class of Kaua‘i Community College cordially invite you to the 58th Annual Commencement, Friday, May 12, 2023. Wai’ale’ale Project

Wai’ale’ale Project hosted high school seniors from Kanuikapono Public Charter School on March 31, 2023. Along with their teacher, Erin Medeiros, students connected with various offices on campus including Career Counseling, Admissions and Academic Advisors. The goal was to ease students’ transition from high school to college and foster student success.

Languages, Arts & Humanities Division has a New Academic Subject Certificate

Students interested in artistic careers will soon be able to earn a 21-credit ASC in Visual Arts from KCC within the regular Liberal Arts program. This ASC, while not a degree, can be used to show prospective employers that they have formal college-level training in both 2D and 3D visual art, as well as digital art.

Na Leo Lele Creative Writing Contest Award Ceremony

Join Us in Celebrating Student Writing! We will be awarding the winners of our annual Na Leo Lele Creative Writing Contest. You’ll get to hear students read their work and enjoy some refreshments while you're at it! All are welcome to attend! Food Drive

When: Wednesday, May 3 from 12:45 - 2 p.m.

Where: On Campus drop off locations (OSC, LRC, Chancellor's Office)


The issue of hunger continues to be a significant challenge facing our community, affecting those most vulnerable among us, and the University of Hawai‘i (UH) 'ohana is not immune from this issue. With the higher cost of food and the elimination of emergency allotments provided to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) beneficiaries during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hawai‘i Foodbank is bracing for higher demand for their services.

Yard Game Day

When: Wednesday, May 3, 12:45 - 2 p.m.

Where: In front of Fine Arts Auditorium


In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, all students who are active in student clubs or interested in student clubs are welcome to attend the event which includes a slip-n-slide, yard games, shave ice, spicy noodle challenge, pizza, and more.


"Siddhartha: Seeker of Truth" a new musical by Music Professor Greg Shepherd

When: May 4-7 and May 11-14

Where: War Memorial Convention Hall


Kauai Community College will present the world premiere of the musical “Siddhartha: Seeker of Truth.” The play tells the story of a young man named Arthur Hope, Jr. who reads the classic novel “Siddhartha” and sets off on his own journey in search of the meaning of life.
