“Communities need to work together, across sectors, to create coordinated systems of support and opportunity for all children and youth,” according to a new field study released by The EdRedesign Lab, a program of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The study, The Role of the Public Sector in Cradle-to-Career Place-Based Partnerships, examines how cross-sector collaboration amplifies the impact of local government and nongovernmental organizations in serving children and youth. Check out the publication to read what our founder and CEO Elizabeth Gaines said about how communities can leverage these important partnerships.

Children’s Funding Project and StriveTogether are collaborating to provide six partnerships within the Cradle to Career Network with new opportunities for financial support and technical assistance. Through this collaboration, Children’s Funding Project will support the participating network members in hiring and training children’s funding coordinators to lead localized work to expand equitable opportunities for children and youth through strategic public financing. Look out for a blog from StriveToether about Children’s Funding Project and strategic public financing this fall!
