SCARBOROUGH FISH & GAME SPORTING CLAYS
Saturday, August 12 and
Sunday, August 13, 2023
Shooters...
This is the final pre-reg notice for the Maine Open, August 12 & 13, at Scarborough Fish & Game.

Please read this entire email as there is a lot of information.

EVENTS
This year’s Maine Open will have two, 100 target events, and one 50 target event. The Main Event is a 100 registered target event. The second event will be Super Sporting - 100 registered targets, using three traps on each station. The third event is a registered 50 target 5-Stand. The Maine Open registration is found on ScoreChaser.com. The Main and Super Sporting are European start (no pre-squadding, you will squad yourself), but you MUST register that you (and your squad mates) are coming and the day (Saturday or Sunday) you wish to shoot. 5-Stand will be held on the field in front of the clubhouse and will be a SQUADDED event. You will need to pick a time that you (and your squad) wish to shoot and sign up online for that time. If you wait to sign up onsite for 5-Stand, you may not get to shoot 5-Stand at the time you want, and you may not get to squad with the people you wish to shoot with. All events are the same for both days, so you can shoot either Saturday or Sunday, or both days. The woods course (Main & Super Sporting) will be open 8am - 3pm - all days. 5-Stand will run 8am until 3pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. You can shoot any event first, but on the woods course, everyone on the squad must shoot the same event - please do not mix events and do not shoot both events at the same time, since it creates backups on the course.

An important note about 5-Stand. Please plan to arrive at the 5-Stand five minutes before you are scheduled to start. If you are scheduled for 5-Stand and you are shooting events out on the Woods course, and you are not finished with those events by the time of your 5-Stand rotation, you will need to leave the woods course and go shoot your 5-Stand. 5-Stand rotations will start promptly at their scheduled time, and we will not hold up rotations waiting for shooters. If you want to shoot 5-Stand and have never done it before, please plan to show up and watch a few rotations before your schedule shoot time.

It is easy to create a free account. We strongly urge all our shooters to go out and create a FREE account and become familiar with the ScoreChaser.com website. If you are having trouble creating an account on ScoreChaser, please reach out to their technical support. REGISTER
To register, please register on ScoreChaser.com. On ScoreChaser, if you have an NSCA number, please type it into the NSCA ID field (and press enter) when registering - it will automatically pull all your information from the NSCA database and load your class information. Please be sure to select the day you are shooting (once you click the event you are registering for, it gives you the Option of Friday, Saturday and Sunday). If you use ScoreChaser to register for events outside of Maine, please use ScoreChaser to register for our events. The only squadded event is 5-Stand. To register for your time on 5-Stand, on ScoreChaser, once you get to Events and Options (bottom right in green), check "5-Stand". Once you check "5-Stand" the available times will show up and you will need to click the button for the time that you want. 5-Stand rotations start every 50 minutes (starting at 8am and ending by 3pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday).

If you absolutely cannot use ScoreChaser, please email in. If emailing in, please include: 1. Name(s). 2. NSCA Number(s) 3. Day(s) you will shoot, and 4. Event(s) you will shoot. 5-Stand is the only squadded event. 5-Stand rotations start every 50 minutes (starting at 8am and ending by 3pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday). If you are emailing in to shoot 5-Stand, please provide 3 time slots you would be able to shoot in the order of your preference. Please, no registrations by text or phone!

NOTE: Please allow 48 hours for a response to email registrations and PLEASE DO NOT send multiple emails.

REGISTERING MULTIPLE SHOOTERS
We've had some questions about how to register multiple shooters on ScoreChaser. Go in and register yourself (if you have an NSCA number, be sure to put that in the proper field on the first page). When you get to the payment page (no payment is due until you get to the club to register in), at the bottom next to the "REGISTER" button, please click "+REGISTER ANOTHER SHOOTER". You will need to do that for each shooter you wish to register. Filling out the squadding information, DOES NOT register additional shooters in.

If you are registering someone after you have already sent in your registration, go back to the main page of our shoot. Below the green button "My Registration" on that main page, click "+REGISTER ANOTHER SHOOTER".

LUNCH
Lunch is included in your event entry on Saturday & Sunday.
