Date: July 4th — July 5th
As previously announced, we are resuming our yearly in-person commemorative event in the Bardejov Holocaust Memorial Garden.
The Commemoration Ceremony will take place on July 4th in the evening
(exact time to be announced), and a guided walking tour of Jewish Bardejov will take place on the morning of July 5th.
Please note that there is a Slovak national holiday on July 5th and most stores and restaurants will be closed.
Participation in the memorial event is open to the local public in Bardejov and to our guests from around the world. We hope to see you in Bardejov!
Ground Transportation:
We will assist you with coordinating ground transportation to and from Krakow and Kosice airports with a local provider.
Accommodation:
We have blocked out a few rooms in two Bardejov hotels. The reservations can be made directly with the hotels, contact information for each one is provided below. Make sure to mention that you are with the BJPC event so they can provide one of the blocked rooms for you.
2. Hotel Pod Branou (3 stars) – Located in the town center
Additionally, two other hotels in Bardejov may be reserved:
Hotel Šariš – Located near the historical center of Bardejov
The rooms that we have blocked will be held for two weeks, after which the rooms will be released for any potential reservation.
