Dear Competitors,
We look forward to seeing you all at the 42nd running of the Lime Rock Park Historic Festival. Your Final Instructions contain important driver information, including updated entry and schedule, tech and registration, and everything you need to have a successful event. Please take the time to review the Final Instructions as some procedures have changed from previous years, and some weekend events require early registration.
As always, don't hesitate to call if you have any questions.
From all of us at Lime Rock, see you soon!

Friday, Saturday, and Monday Schedule
On Friday, August 30 each group will have two sessions. On Saturday, August 31 and Monday, September 2, the traditional twice-a-day schedule with twenty minutes per race will prevail. The grid for the first race on Saturday will be determined by your best lap time on Friday. Grid position in your second, third, and fourth races will be based on your fastest lap time from all previous sessions (practice as well as race). The run group order changes Saturday and Monday afternoon, please be certain to verify your sessions times.

If, after practice and qualifying, you feel that you are in the wrong group, or are extremely uncomfortable, you may find Steve Hyatt, Chief Steward, through event staff under the tower who will deal with individual entrants accordingly, and if necessary, will consult Chairman Skip Barber.

Mandatory Drivers Meeting
A mandatory driver’s meeting will be held on Pit Lane in front of Starter Stand at 8:45 a.m. on Friday morning, August 30. Non-attendance may result in the loss of track time. Arrangements can be made for drivers who are not able to attend. Please contact the event staff at the base of the tower.
|
Conduct on the Track
Participants should behave in a responsible fashion on track. We are well aware that historic racing may and should be exercised in a spirit of competition, but we do not wish to see contact between competing cars nor between cars and the Lime Rock scenery.
We have continued our policy of deploying experienced observers at key points on the track. If you experience a negligent and significant off-course excursion or initiate contact with one of your contemporaries on track, then we will assume you didn't have a valid justification. If it is determined that you are found at fault for causing damage to someone else’s car, we may ask you to no longer participate in the remaining weekend proceedings.

Timing and Scoring & Transponders
Without a transponder you will not be timed and will be placed at the back of the grid for your races. If you did not provide a transponder with your entry registration, you may see Timing and Scoring in the tower on Thursday ONLY, by 4pm, or provide the transponder number at driver registration.
PLEASE VERIFY YOUR TRANSPONDER NUMBER ON MOTORSPORTREG.COM, AND MAKE SURE YOUR TRANSPONDER SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE CURRENT BEFORE THE EVENT
Transponders will not be available for rent in 2024
The Timing & Scoring room will be closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. If you must replace your transponder number or have questions about timing and scoring, please find event staff at the base of the tower.
Live Timing and Scoring data will be available on the *Race Monitor app. In addition to this, we have made arrangements to email a PDF of the results directly to participants after each race. If you cannot receive emails you will find copies of the results in the Drivers Lounge.
*Note - Race Monitor presents unofficial results. While typically very accurate, there are some situations (such as duplicate numbers) where the app does not correctly reflect all the data being collected on the T&S system. Please check with T&S if you have any concerns but know that as long as you have a working transponder, we are getting your times no matter what the app might say.
