Greetings Daytona Participants,
First, as always, please read through the SCHEDULE & SUPPLEMENTAL RULES Please be sure to refresh your browser so you are looking at the correct version, version 5.0 is the most current.
Load In-
Load in begins at 11 am at Gate 40 (Williamson Blvd) for Trailers and RV's only. We will be issuing Blue, Yellow, and Camping tags
Tech-
Team Captains, make sure you have updated your 2024 Tech Form online. Some teams have this completed, but the form may not have been updated to the 2024 specifications, double-check that yours is correct. Remember that ChampCar is no longer adding up points, it is up to you to ensure the points for VPI and added parts are calculated correctly.
ChampCar Timing Staff will be testing and issuing Transponders and updating Flagtronics in the tech area. Please bring a credit card to Tech if you plan on renting either device.
Please make sure your Flagtronics has the latest update: v0.7.0.1.
Any car on track during race day is subject to being black-flagged if the Flagtronics or Transponder are not working correctly.
Registration-
Please take a few minutes to review your team's registration by checking membership status and payment. Also please make sure your Transponder # and Flagtronics # are in your registration correctly.

Electronic Waiver and Gear Check Agreement-
Waivers must be filled out every time a membership is renewed. If you see a red exclamation point next to a driver/crew name, they still need to fill out both the online waiver and gear check agreement. The process is simple to complete; however it is very important that they verify both emails, otherwise it will not update. The waiver is the standard participation waiver, and the gear check is an agreement that you will comply with all of ChampCar's required safety equipment.
Flagtronics and Transponders:
Flagtronics FT200 units are required and can be rented for $50 at registration.
Transponders are also available to rent for $50 at registration. Please make certain that your Flagtronics FT200 is installed as shown in the BCCR. This is very important as ChampCar starts to transition to using the FT200 for pit-stop timing. Not installing the FT200 per the BCCR could result in delays at pit out during the race.
Golf Carts/ ATV's
Golf carts or ATVs are NOT allowed anywhere on DIS property. Pit carts/ tugs are allowed.
