In 2023 PRC saw an incredible growth in ultrasounds, medical services, and general visits from the Grand Community! Our totals for the year are as follows:
- 2061 visits to PRC in total
- 803 clients visited PRC
- 46 babies were born to PRC clients
- 36 limited ultrasounds and pregnancy tests were administered
- 5 limited STI tests were completed
- 315 material donations were given to PRC
- 390 visitors came to our clothing room
- 240 packs of diapers and wipes were given to families in need
- 222 families received free baby equipment through PRC
- 232 cans of formula were distributed
- 3,421 minutes of lessons were completed through BrightCourse
- 12 community members attended Financial Peace University classes
- 15 expectant mothers and their partners attended our free childbirth classes
- 1725.06 hours were spent at PRC by our amazing volunteers
Through our new contracted medical provider we were able to increase our available services! These stats are solely from September to December, ie four clinic weekends!
- 21 Ultrasounds
- 15 Full spectrum STI tests with treatment as necessary
- 13 Well-woman exams
- 23 Prenatal care visits
- 6 Postpartum and anxiety management support services
- 5 Sexual Health and Natural Family Planning consultations
- 1 Child CPR class
- 2 Post Abortion Support consults
- 3 Pregnancy Loss Support consults

The Journey of a Client

At PRC we understand we may walk beside a client for 20 minutes, one hour, one day,
9 months and sometimes years. In a small community we can even make lifetime connections, especially with moms who have limited or no support system. We recently worked with a mom who was having her third child. She and her partner had no support system in our community and were trying to navigate how to go to job interviews (as he had just lost his job), get to Steamboat for delivery, childcare during the birth and post-partum support. I received permission from this overwhelmed mom to talk to our team about the needs she had and asked her if it would be helpful if we had a “meal train” to alleviate some stress after delivery. She nearly cried with gratitude and accepted our offer.
At PRC we have learned it is not enough to say, “keep your baby” and leave moms alone to struggle with parenting. This is why we offer Bright Course parenting lessons online, weekly playgroups, free childbirth classes, free prenatal care up to 20 weeks, and free postpartum support for 3 months. We also have our clothes closet with diapers, formula, baby clothes and equipment, to help alleviate some expenses.
Well, the volunteers went above and beyond! Together we provided fourteen meals, diapers and baby clothes for this momma and her family! I am so honored to work with this team of volunteers! And because of supporters like YOU we can be available to share the love of Christ, to give hope to families and to help people who have very difficult journeys!

spotlight. Mike will have you rolling on the floor with laughter, while simultaneously building your reverence for the work of local lifesaving organizations.

When I (Rich Bennett) came across this quote recently, I was struck by two things.
First, not all that long ago, our nation’s leading abortion provider – responsible for a record 374,155 abortions last year – would deny that abortion was a significant part of what they do. Those days are gone.
But second, I was struck by the raw truth being revealed. When you push for mail-order abortions that put women at risk … place restrictions on pregnancy centers which offer prolife alternatives … and provide abortions until the moment of birth (as is the case in our state), you truly are fighting like hell.
Through your support you are helping more women and men feel empowered to choose life for their babies. And you are providing these families with the opportunities to hear the Gospel. You are fighting like heaven.
Even though the cost to reach women searching for desperate options online has more than doubled over the last two years,
we are committed to continue fighting like heaven to reach these women in need of true support.
