Meet Pete! Our new Sexton!

Peter Frantz joined St. David's as our new sexton on January 3rd. A retired contractor and a veteran Episcopalian, having grown up in St. Peter's, Bennington, VT, and serving in many capacities at St. Philip's in East Hampton, MA, he knows his way around the Episcopal church. Be sure to say "hi" and "welcome", next time you see him.

News from the Earth Keeping Team

Thanks to Mary Provo, our team is participating in a grant-funded program called "An Episcopal Path to Creation Justice" that is part of the national Episcopal Creation Care Justice Network. We are the only church in Maine to take part; other churches are from the Dioceses of New Hampshire and Western Massachusetts. We are working with Deb Baker from NH who is helping us to review our current work, clarify our goals for the future, and be connected with resources to help us achieve our goals. The focus of the program is on four areas of creation justice work: pray, learn, act, and advocate. We will be working with Deb through Earth Day on April 21st and will keep you posted about our efforts. Please let us know if you would like to work with us in any way to promote creation care and justice.
