5th Year and Still Running: Spotlight on Brandon Pappert
Brandon Pappert ran his first 5K in the inaugural Ferguson Twilight Run at the age of 11. He continued to run in the Ferguson Twilight Run 5K, and last year he ran the 10K. He admits, "I was not a runner until the first time I did the Ferguson Twilight Run, but I really enjoyed it. I started running in my free time. I've done a triathlon, and my goal this summer is to do a half marathon."
As a Board Member of the Ferguson Youth Initiative, Brandon is very excited that the Ferguson Youth Initiative's Earn-A-Bike program is a beneficiary of this year's Ferguson Twilight Run. Brandon says, "This is a great program because it teaches bicycling safety and helps youth earn bicycles."
