A Special Note About the Upcoming 2025 Comprehensive Neuroradiology Course

Dear Neuroradiology Fellowship Director,

I wanted to let you know that the ASNR’s Comprehensive Neuroradiology Course is all set to return in 2025 and to personally invite you to encourage your fellows to attend. This will be our 4th year holding this three-day course in which we cover the essentials of all things practical neuroradiology, including adult brain imaging, pediatric neuroradiology, head and neck imaging, spine, and advanced imaging techniques. Lectures are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm each day and are given by some of the best educators in our field, making this a great place to consolidate knowledge.

Back by popular demand, is the case submission process which may be of particular interest to trainees. Designed to fulfill the ACGME requirement for scholarly activity, trainees (or faculty!) are invited to submit an interesting or challenging case along with relevant clinical background and salient teaching points.

The accepted cases will be presented by me (the course director) as TRUE unknowns to our faculty panel of experts during the meeting, and attendees will be able to see the thought process as some of the best minds in our field work through a case they have never seen before. Last year this was a lot of fun, and really engaging for the attendees.

The 2025 CNC course will be held January 30-February 1, 2025, at Tradewinds Island Resort in St. Pete’s Beach, FL. Responding to the feedback we received last year, the ASNR has done a great job of locating a beautiful spot that is easy to access from anywhere in the USA, offers great amenities and access to the beautiful beach along the Gulf Coast, and also is exceptionally reasonable in price to allow everyone to attend without stretching the academic budget. We hope this will make it even easier for all who are interested to attend.

Find all the details at https://www.asnr.org/comprehensive-neuroradiology-course/. If you have questions about the course or the case submission process, please feel free to contact me and I hope some of you may join us as well -- we would love to see you!

Best,

Joshua P. Nickerson, MD, FACR

CNC Course Director

ASNR Neuroradiology Fellowship Curriculum Updates

This members-only benefit is curated specifically for ASNR MIT fellows and covers advanced imaging, brain, head and neck, interventional neuroendovascular, noninterpretive/finance, pediatric and spine lectures. Fellows can now adjust the playback speed of videos, thanks to a recently added feature. Fellows can currently access the curriculum that was updated during the last academic year. We are in the process of updating and reorganizing the ASNR's Fellowship Curriculum and will send an announcement once the update is complete.
