Grab 'n Go Program connects clients

In August, we started the Grab 'n Go program for the unsheltered community in Beverly. We provide a daily bag of healthy shelf stable snacks to hold these clients over until dinner time when they can attend the free local community dinners.

These clients have complex issues and come from all walks of life, but we are happy to offer them this critical first step. We have helped a client who is a day trader and is still actively working while living in a shelter, and a carpenter also living at a shelter who has already stopped coming for his Grab 'n Go bag because he's gotten a job.

The program allows us the chance to meet with this population and connect them with other programs and services. We thank you for your support that has enabled us to start this new and very worthwhile program.
