Come be a part of PJ Library® and JCC Golden Age's L'Dor V'Dor: From My Kitchen to Yours. Calling all PJ Library participants and their beloved grandpals! Join us for a heartwarming program where generations come together to celebrate family traditions and culinary delights. Grandparents, we invite you to bring your cherished recipes, each one a precious heirloom, to pass down to your grandchildren. Each family will have the opportunity to contribute 1 to 2 pages of their favourite recipes for a special keepsake book, which you will receive a few weeks after the event! Kesher members, friends, and volunteers experienced A Heartfelt Journey Through Violins of Hope on May 5 – it was an unforgettable visit to Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre. We started with an insightful and knowledgeable presentation about the violins which included the opportunity to listen to four of them being played! Tears flowed freely as we connected deeply with the stories behind these instruments, thanks to the heartfelt storytelling of Don Schapira. We wish to extend sincere appreciation to Holocaust and Human Rights: Remembrance and Education Co-Chairs Marnie Bondar and Dahlia Libin for making this unique and soulful experience possible.

The Harold Grinspoon Foundation once again held an impactful three days of learning and sharing at the Life and Legacy® gathering in Springfield, MA from May 5 to 7. Five Calgarians attended representing three different organizations. From the meaningful Yom HaShoah commemoration and a keynote presentation from JAFI, to the breakout sessions, everyone is returning with new tools to continue building our Jewish Calgary legacy. If you would like more information about the Life and Legacy program, email Diana Kalef or call 403-444-3154.
