TEEN CENTER PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Teen Center English Language Learning classes (ELL) are happening every Monday with our volunteer Michael Zinn. Teens learn and actively practice basic vocabulary, grammar, speaking, and listening skills.

Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation with Rye Youth Council's Sangeeta Bansal focuses on teaching teens different types of meditation using yoga and breathing methods.  

 Social & Emotional Learning Workshops with Lisa Weinman from the Rye Youth Council occur 2x a month. The teens explore self-awareness by working in small groups on fun and challenging activities that foster communication and problem-solving skills. 

High School Seniors are having a great time volunteering to play Bingo with residents at the

Drew Street apartments.

We saved $48,000 from 2022- 2023.
