Happy February 3rd Birthday Diana Jones!!!

We would like to spotlight one of our hardest working volunteers for her birthday!

Diana started volunteering with FTN in the very beginning, on the school side of it. She worked at Kelley Smith Elementary as the Executive Secretary. She picked up the food from the FTN warehouse, delivered it to Kelley Smith, then distributed it to all the students in need, until she retired in 2018. She then started volunteering at the warehouse.

Diana volunteers for FTN because it’s close to her heart and she believes in it. Seeing the kids firsthand at the schools receive their food, after devouring their breakfast and wanting more, she saw their hunger in action. She worked in Putnam County Schools for 32 years, in elementary, middle, and high schools.

She loves Putnam County because she and her husband Roger raised children here, it’s just a good small hometown, and you can’t go anywhere without seeing someone you know. She says it’s a good place to raise your family.

Diana loves reading and walking. She and Roger have been married for 48 years!! They have 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 4 great children!

We love you, Diana! Happy Birthday!
