The APTA CT DEI Committee is currently creating a high school outreach program aimed at increasing awareness and recruitment of under-represented groups to the field of PT.
Our goals are to find high schools in under-served areas who would like to participate along with compiling a list of PTs, PTAs, and students interested in getting involved.
We then plan on participating in at least 3 school events this coming Spring, either in-person or virtual, where we plan to introduce the field of PT in a fun and engaging way!
